5 REASONS YOU SHOULDN’T MOVE IN WITH YOUR PARENTS

Yes, i am going to move back in with my parents. And no, it is not voluntary. This coming year I am going to take a gap year. As amazing as this sounds, it has definitely  it’s drawbacks. The biggest being that my bank account will most likely be drier than Jay Z’s lips. So whats a guy have to do to fill his stomach with more than just air and saliva? move in with your parents of course.

I am not gonna lie. Living with my parents will have it’s sweet perks.  Everything is basically free. I don’t have to do my own laundry. And best of all, I don’t have to show myself from my best side; They already know who they are dealing with.

But on the other hand you have the downsides that from time to time will make you pack your suitcase faster than you can blink.

  1. There is no leaving the house without telling your parents where you are going, who you are going with and when you are coming home.

  2. There is no escaping those uncomfortable dinner-table conversations, or more like interrogations.  “Have you got a job yet, when are we going to get grandchildren, why are you wasting your life”.

  3. Binge watching Netflix is no longer considered “valid use of time”.

  4. There is no more waking up at dinner time because observing your sleeping pattern is probably your parents favourite activity.

  5. And of course there is no less awkward way to tell people that you are living at your parents house again.
